הבינה המלאכותית משנה את העולם, את מערכת החינוך ואת שוק העבודה במהירות. מקצועות רבים עוברים אוטומציה, ומקצועות חדשים נוצרים. ילדים שאינם מכירים את הטכנולוגיות הללו יפתחו פערים למול בני גילם, אשר רוכשים מיומנויות אלו בגיל צעיר – הן במערכת החינוך והן בהמשך, בקבלה ליחידות צבאיות, לאקדמיה ולשוק העבודה. לצורך כך יש לגשר על הפער בין הטכנולוגיה המתחדשת לבין הידע של התלמידים בצריכתה והעצמת השימוש המושכל בה .
התוכנית המוצעת היא תוכנית ייחודית, אשר תסייע לתלמידים לגשר על הפער ותיתן בידיהם כלים מגוונים להעצמה, לחיזוק תחושת הביטחון ולחיזוק מיומנויות המחשב והבינה המלאכותית. אלו יאפשרו לילדים ללמוד ולהכיר טוב יותר את עולם הבינה המלאכותית על היבטיו השונים, ותייצר מסוגלות ואוריינות AI מתקדמת אצל התלמידים, שתסייע לגשר על הפער הדיגיטלי ולצעוד אל עתיד שוויוני יותר.
